Father’s Day Tribute
A little father’s day history and a bit perspective on fatherhood, family and life.

While many of us celebrate father’s day with joy. The double edge sword of the Iraq War reminds us that father’s have lost son’s and daughther serving their country carrying the ideals these same father’s helped instill in there children. Also keep in mind the Mother’s who go through this day bearing the pain of raising a child that will never know the greatness of their fathers who died in this war.

Tim Russert Jr. passed week suddenly this past week. While his father bears a terrible pain, Tim Russert, Sr was left being immortalized by his son in the best seller “Big Russ and Me” the ultimate tribute a father can receive.
